The Griersons started in 1972 and is one of the biggest events in the UK documentary calendar. This years’ nominations have just been announced and we are delighted to see some familiar names being recognised. The awards celebrate documentaries from Britain and abroad that have made a significant contribution,  they honour the very best in factual filmmaking, celebrating creativity, innovation, and powerful storytelling.

This years’ nominations have several Satusfaction editors in the following categories;

• Best Returning Documentary Series – 24 Hours in Police Custody –Ella Newton
• Best History Documentary – Children of the Cult –Ella Newton
• Best Returning Documentary Series – Surgeons at the Edge of Life –Tanya Trochoulias and Myles Painter
