Wild London
Passion Pictures for BBC1
Editor: Dom Lester
Exec Producer: Tom Hugh Jones
1st January 2026
Editor Dom Lester is a lifelong natural history fan so was incredibly excited when asked to edit a new film for David Attenborough by Passion Pictures. This was a dream project for Dom, and he was especially happy to be back working on a David Attenborough documentary, having previously been a lead editor on The Great Barrier Reef back in 2015. Very well done, Dom!
After a lifetime spent exploring every corner of the globe, Sir David turns his attention to the city he knows best- London. He brings a deeply personal perspective to Wild London, guiding us through the capital’s surprisingly rich and often overlooked wildlife. The film also captures an array of extraordinary stories, including peregrine falcons nesting on the Houses of Parliament to a family of foxes navigating life in the heart of Tottenham. Alongside the animals, Wild London also celebrates the people working tirelessly to protect and restore wildlife across the capital. The film offers a hopeful look at how humans and wildlife can coexist, and even thrive, together.
Congratulations to Dom, what a project!
