Zero Stars – CPL PRoductions/TLC

This was Creda and Connor’s first broadcast credit as a job share and they proved what a great team they make, editing two episodes of Zero Stars for CPL Productions.

This popular Danish-originated format travelogue has been picked up in 6 other European countries – the UK being the most recent – and sees two comedians, Sara Pascoe and Roisin Conaty, adventure across the world to try out places to eat, sleep and experience with the worst, funniest and most baffling reviews.

Connor is an experienced comedy editor, familiar with Sara Pascoe’s work and humour from editing various episodes of Last Woman on Earth. His sense of timing and flawless rhythm combined with Creda’s storytelling acumen and snappy, engaging cutting style contribute to the series and make their episodes very entertaining to watch.

They told us ‘we had such fun working on Zero Stars. There was a fine balance to strike between the concept of the rough, weird, zero star experiences, and still getting the right amount of Sara and Roisin cracking each other up and having a good time (when they did!). Working as a couple on a job share felt like a huge advantage, having two heads to figure out each decision when needed, and we’re happy the director Tom Levinge and CPL Productions went with it. Post-production was so smooth. Our favourite job of the year.’

Premieres on TLC on Sunday 12th April at 9pm.
