This one is a long time in the making, Charlie Hawryliw spent a year editing this 3-part factual documentary series based on the hit BBC Sounds podcast ‘Believe in Magic’. Charlie is a master at weaving complex stories from an abundance of footage and this particular project has twists, turns and shocking revelations.

With exclusive access to friends, experts and family, the series tells the story of Megan Bhari, an inspirational 16-year-old girl who, along with her mother Jean, launched Believe in Magic: a charity to grant wishes to seriously ill children. It unravels the disturbing true story behind the eponymous children’s cancer charity and its founders, Megan and Jean Bhari. It investigates how the high-profile charity deceived celebrities and families, spiraling into a massive medical and financial scandal.
