With over twenty years in documentary filmmaking, Paul Holland is an editor known for turning vast amounts of material into sharp, engaging and emotionally driven films. A master of structure and storytelling, Paul’s strength lies in character-led storytelling. He instinctively finds the moments that reveal personality and warmth, weaving them into narratives that feel both intimate and purposeful.  His latest work, Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision, is a clear showcase of these skills.

Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision is a 90 minute documentary narrated by Kate Winslet which offers unprecedented access to King Charles III’s environmental work and personal philosophy. Produced in collaboration with The King’s Foundation and streaming on Amazon Prime from Friday 6th February,  the film explores the King’s commitment to protecting the planet,  a cause he has championed for more than five decades.

The documentary is reflective and intimate blending archive footage, observational moments and personal reflection to create a calm, thoughtful pace that mirrors the King’s own measured approach. Rather than overwhelming us with statistics, the film allows ideas to emerge through memory, experience, and conversation. One standout moment sees the King watching footage of himself aged 21, delivering a speech in 1970 about the environment at a time when he recalls his views were often dismissed as “bonkers”. The moment reinforces how consistent his message has remained over the decades.

The focus remains firmly on the King’s environmental mission, rather than his royal status. It tackles biodiversity loss alongside climate change however the documentary avoids despair, instead emphasising possibility, responsibility, and reconnection with the natural world.

Wonderful work Paul! Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision will be available on Prime Video from Friday 6th February.
