This new series from Studio Lambert and The Garden is the biggest reality competition ever! Squid Game: The Challenge is based on the South Korean Netflix drama, this time it isn’t a matter of life or death but there’s still a lot on the line! 456 players will compete to win $4.56 million, Netflix’s largest cash prize in reality television history. Through a series of games, each player will be pushed to their limits and forced to ask themselves just how far they’ll go to win, with opportunistic alliances, cutthroat strategies and timely betrayals to follow. Trust is challenged and characters are tested in this series of heart-stopping games to compete as sole survivor.
Tim Fielding worked on the series. He explained “The show was a real challenge (excuse the pun) in terms of production and edit. It was the largest cast of a reality show ever, 456 people, and that comes with many issues. Some technical, like mics and coverage, but also to being able to get to know characters & care about them amongst that many people. It was great to be part of a production with such scale, the sets are amazing and completely authentic to the drama, and some of the stories & action which happen through the series really are jaw-dropping”.
