Hidden & Homeless Documentary

Satusfaction’s Franco Bogino recently finished editing  “Professor Green: Hidden & Homeless”

Professor Green sets out to discover the modern face of homelessness, changing our perceptions of who the homeless are and the harsh reality of their lives. From the shocking streets of Manchester, where rough sleeping has doubled in the last year, to meeting those trapped in the same cycle of temporary hostel life and sofa surfing, he uncovers a generation of people without access to normal society or to their futures.

Everything the fly can see Greg can see. He is deeply obsessed with his ex-girlfriend Haley so he spends his time secretly watching her through the eyes of his tiny robotic partner in crime. But when Greg witnesses Haley’s violent new boyfriend, JOHN, abusing her, it very quickly becomes clear that for Greg, simply watching, is not enough.

‘God’s Acre’ is the directorial debut of our lovely editor J.P. Davidson.  It’s set in the bleakest realms of London’s suburbs. Matthew Jure gives an incredibly powerful performance as Malcolm, a failed property developer dealing with his inner demons. Driven to bankruptcy due to the recession, Malcolm loses everything and falls into deep debt. With his only possession being a house that’s rotting around him, Malcolm must renovate and sell in order to repay his creditors and escape the spiraling danger which their lack of patience precipitates. It won’t be that easy though; the home haunts Malcolm’s mind and drives him further into an alcohol-driven loneliness. There’s something sinister in the very foundations, and Malcolm must see this through to the bitter end…
